I parked right in front of Tasty Diner last night (which was kind of a miracle if you know Bethesda)and found Veteran's Park full of people- especially small ones eating pizza and enjoying the music.The Troubadours were surrounded by very short fans (a.k.a. children) going balistic. (There seemed to be nothing stopping them from taking over the band, and believe me some of them tried.) Still it was a great night for all ages to sit, dance or shake your carrot which is what Jack's daughter, Dolly had going.And Mark got the chance to practice up for the big Slickee Boys Show at the 9:30 Club next Sunday. (If you haven't seen Mark as a Slickee Boy, get your tickets now. You won't be disappointed)
